Ordering and Shipping
How long does shipping take?
Canvas prints are produced on demand by our print partner and typically ship within 3-7 business days. Art prints are printed in Málaga and, like original paintings, ship from our studio within 2-3 business days. Delivery times after dispatch vary by location: Europe (5-10 business days), North America (7-14 business days), rest of world (10-21 business days). All orders ship with tracking.
Do you ship worldwide?
We ship to Spain, the rest of the EU and 14 more countries: the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, Switzerland, Japan, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Malaysia, Israel and the United Arab Emirates. Original paintings and art prints ship from our studio in Málaga, Spain; canvas prints are produced by our print partner, often close to you for faster delivery. Available destinations and shipping costs are shown at checkout. Standard shipping is free on orders of €100 or more to Spain and the rest of the EU. If your country isn't listed, get in touch and we'll look for a solution. Orders shipped outside the EU may be subject to import duties and taxes set by the destination country; they are not included in the price and are paid by the recipient.
How are paintings packaged?
Original paintings can be shipped either ready to hang (mounted on their stretcher) or rolled in a tube, whichever you prefer; for international orders of medium and large paintings we recommend rolled shipping to reduce cost and the risk of damage in transit. Originals are carefully wrapped in acid-free paper and padded with protective foam, and ready-to-hang pieces travel in custom-sized sturdy boxes. Just let us know your preference by email at info@rocioarrupe.com when you place your order. Canvas prints ship stretched on a 4 cm deep wooden frame, ready to hang, and art prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Every order is packaged to ensure your artwork arrives in perfect condition.
What if my order arrives damaged?
In the unlikely event that your artwork arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage, and we'll arrange a replacement or a full refund at no extra cost. See our shipping policy and refund policy for full details.

What's the difference between a canvas print and an original painting?
An original painting is a one-of-a-kind work painted by hand in acrylic on canvas. A canvas print is a high-quality reproduction printed on cotton-polyester canvas and stretched on a wooden frame. Originals have unique texture and brushwork; prints offer the same image at a more accessible price point. Read our detailed comparison guide for more information.
What sizes are available?
Canvas prints come in several sizes depending on each artwork's proportions, from 20×20 cm up to 100×50 cm. Original paintings come in their painted size, which varies per piece. Size details are listed on each product page.
Are canvas prints framed?
Canvas prints are not framed. They ship gallery-wrapped on a 4 cm deep wooden stretcher frame, ready to hang. The image wraps around the edges for a clean, modern look that doesn't require additional framing. If you'd like a frame, framing is available on request and quoted separately.
Custom Commissions
Can I commission a custom painting?
Absolutely! Custom commissions are one of the most rewarding parts of my practice. Whether you'd like a painting based on a photograph, a place that matters to you or a special moment, I'd love to discuss your idea. Visit the commissions page to learn more and get in touch.
Do you paint portraits?
I don't paint portraits of people or pets. I paint the places and moments where your story happened: a beach, a street, your home, the view from a trip. Landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes and meaningful scenes are very welcome.
How much does a custom painting cost?
Commissions are painted in acrylic on canvas. Indicative prices: small (up to 40×30 cm) from €400, medium (up to 70×50 cm) from €700, large (up to 100×80 cm) from €1,000, and extra large (over 100 cm) by quote. Framing is optional and quoted separately, as is shipping. You'll always receive a written quote before we start.
How long does a commission take?
Most custom paintings take between 3 and 8 weeks from when you approve the preview on your wall, depending on size and detail. I'll share progress updates throughout the process.
How does payment work for a commission?
A 30% deposit is paid when you approve the preview on your wall, and the remaining 70% before shipping. Bank transfer, Bizum (Spain) and card are accepted.

Who is Rocío Arrupe?
Rocío Arrupe is a contemporary impressionist artist based in Málaga, Spain. She paints in acrylic on canvas, creating original works inspired by Mediterranean light, seascapes, cityscapes and still life subjects. Learn more on the about page.
What style is the artwork?
The work is primarily impressionist in style — characterised by visible brushstrokes, emphasis on light and colour, and a focus on capturing atmosphere rather than photographic detail. Each painting aims to evoke the emotion and energy of the subject.
Returns and Refunds
What is your return policy?
Original paintings, canvas prints and art prints can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Items must be returned in their original condition, undamaged and in their original packaging. Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. Custom commissions are made to your specifications and are non-refundable once the design is approved. Before painting starts you approve the preview on your wall, and when the painting is about 90% complete one round of minor adjustments is included (composition changes are quoted separately). Can I exchange an item for a different size?
Exchanges work as a return plus a new order: contact us within 14 days of delivery to return the item (return shipping paid by the customer) and, once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the size you want.
